In addition to his work at Rose Hill, he has maintained a private practice since 2007, serving clients in Manhattan, Astoria, and Bayville. His professional expertise includes psychodiagnostics, adult psychology, adolescent psychology, group psychology, and clinical supervision.

He later completed a Master of Arts at the University of Oregon, followed by a second M.A. in Clinical Psychology from the Gordon F. Derner Institute of Advanced Psychological Studies at Adelphi University. In 1988, he received his Ph.D. from Adelphi University and further strengthened his clinical expertise by earning a Postdoctoral Certificate in Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy in 1993.
