Dr. Michael A. Civin’s journey in psychology began with an A.B. degree from Harvard College in 1968, earned with cum laude honors. He pursued a Master’s degree at the University of Oregon (1970) and later earned a second Master’s (1986) and PhD (1988) in clinical psychology from Adelphi University’s Gordon F. Derner Institute. His postdoctoral certificate in psychoanalysis (1993) enhanced his expertise.

In 2008, Dr. Michael A. Civin co-founded Rose Hill Psychological Services, a leading New York City psychotherapy practice where he serves as a senior psychologist.
