Dr. Michael A Civin, Ph.D was a co-founder of Rose Hill Psychological Services in 2007, and he continues to practice there as a senior psychologist, even as he works out of his own private practice; one that serves patients in the Astoria, Manhattan, and Bayville areas of New York City. Dr. Michael Civin’s career includes lots of education. He earned an A.B. Degree from Harvard in 1968, then attended the Albert Einstein College of Medicine the very next year.
Dr. Michael A. Civin, Ph.D. followed that by earning his first Master of Arts degree from the University of Oregon in 1970 and his second M.A., this time in Clinical Psychology from the Gordon F. Derner Institute of Advanced Psychological Studies at Adelphi University in 1986. He then earned a Ph.D. from Adelphi and a medical degree from the Pennsylvania Institute of Straight Chiropractic in 1988. Dr. Civin has been a major player in New York’s psychological services industry throughout a career that has run more than a quarter century so far.
